"We believe in God... who has created and is creating, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh... who works in us and others by the Spirit." - From A New Creed We believe in God... We believe in God,the eternal personal Spirit, Creator and Upholder of all things. The world's Creator ... the Source of all energy ... the definition of Love ... the definition of Grace. A God who is as authoritative as a King and as tender as a doting Parent. We believe God loves us all equally, regardless of our gender, cultural background, socio-economic standing or anything else the world uses to divide and seperate groups of people. God's love knows no borders. As Christians, we believe it is our duty to reflect this Love in all we do. So we acknowledge God as Creator, Upholder, and Sovereign Lord of all things, and the righteous and loving Father of men. We believe in the Son ... We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, Who, for us men and our salvation became man and dwelt among us. We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God ... sent to save us from sin ... a shepherd guiding his sheep safely home. We believe he was a perfect example of what God expects from His people - loving, kind, humble, merciful, sinless and in constant pursuit of God's will. We believe in his death on the cross and in is his holy ressurection ... that through his death, we are reconciled with God, our Maker. So we acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Son of God Incarnate, the Savior of the world. We believe in the Holy Spirit ... We believe in the Holy Spirit by whom God is ever at work in the minds and hearts of men, inspiring every right desire and every effort after truth and beauty. We believe in the Holy Spirit ... the piece of God that dwells within us ... our solid ground in a world that never stops shaking ... our personal, intimate connection to the Almighty. We believe God works in us to help our spirits grow, mature and develop, and that by trusting in God we can become instruments of peace. As Christians, we welcome the Holy Spirit into our souls with open arms ... trusting Its guidance and wisdom ... feeling Its pressence at work in our lives. So we acknowledge the Holy Spirit as the Lord and Giver of life, through whom the creative, redeeming love of God is ever at work among men.
